Each bag has a heaped soil load, creased sagging sides and all four lifting loops, so they still read as tonne bags once they are painted and weathered.

Resin printed for fine detail. Supplied unpainted in grey resin, ready to prime and paint.

Product details
Quantity: 6 tonne bags
Scale: OO Gauge / approximately 1:76
Size: 12mm x 11.5mm x 12mm high, loops included (about 0.9m square at full size)
Load: heaped soil
Material: photopolymer resin
Colour: grey, unpainted
Packed in a rigid printed tray with a lid
Made in the UK

Handling and painting

Handle by the body, not the loops. The lifting loops are fine resin, so lift each bag by its sides.

The parts can be painted using suitable model paints. Prime lightly, then paint the bag white, cream or the merchant's colour of your choice. A dark brown wash over the soil and a dusting of the bag colour on the raised creases finishes them.

Fix using a small dab of PVA, superglue or any other modelling adhesive suitable for resin and the surface you are fixing to.

Due to the 3D-printing process, fine layer lines, tiny support marks under the base or small surface variations may be present. These are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and are generally less noticeable once installed or painted.

Illustrated scene images are provided as examples only. Vehicles, figures, paint and other scenery are not included.

Small model-making components intended for adult hobbyists.
