Add realistic lineside drainage detail to your OO-gauge model railway with this pack of 10 trackside drainage catchpits.
Each catchpit consists of a separate slotted grille and recessed base, allowing the two parts to be painted individually before final assembly. Designed to be installed beside the track with the body recessed into the surrounding ballast and the grille remaining accessible at surface level.
Available as a ready-coloured option or supplied unpainted in Bone White PLA for painting and weathering to suit your layout.

✓ INSTALLATION AND FINISHING
For the most realistic appearance, recess the catchpit base into the surrounding ballast beside the track, leaving the grille accessible at surface level.
The base and grille are supplied as separate parts. They can be installed as supplied or painted and weathered before final assembly. Fix in position using a small amount of suitable model-safe adhesive.
The Unpainted variant is supplied in Bone White PLA, ready to prime and paint. Suggested finishes include concrete grey for the base and dark steel, gunmetal or black for the grille.
