How it started

Ignite 3D started the way a lot of small things do. I bought a 3D printer to see what it could do and never really stopped.

What began as tinkering turned into drawing up the parts I wanted for my own layout, then printing them for other people, and eventually into this.

What I make

The small stuff. Seats, partitions, tables, fencing, and the lineside odds and ends that finish a scene off.

The parts that are easy to overlook, and that completely change how a model reads once they're in.

How it's done

Everything starts with the real thing. I work from prototype dimensions rather than guesswork, draw it up, print it, and test it on my own layout before it goes anywhere near the shop.

If it doesn't look right up close, it doesn't get listed. Every order is printed, checked and packed by me here in the UK.

Now in three scales

It started with OO. Now there's fencing and railings for TT:120 and N gauge too, each drawn at its own scale from the start.

The range grows most months. If there's a part you need and can't find anywhere, tell me. A fair few of the things on this site exist because somebody asked.
